Bloom’s Literary Themes seeks Byron scholar

Chelsea House, a New York publisher of over 600 volumes of Harold Bloom literary criticism, is seeking scholars to write two 3000 to 4000-word essays for a series of volumes on literary themes. One of the essays should deal with "The Sublime" in Don Juan, and one on "Dark Humor" in Don Juan. The ideal author will have a Ph.D., broad knowledge of literature and specific knowledge of Byron, and an ability to write clearly and succinctly for students in both high school and college. If interested please send letter and CV, via e-mail, to:

Dr. Blake G. Hobby

bhobby@unca.edu

Please respond by 11/30//08. The deadline will be 3/15/09.
