Hello everyone, The first song on Leonard Cohen s new album Dear Heather , is Byron s So we ll go no more a roving. Word for word - no alterations of course. I got a nice surprise when I saw it. As I am sure I have mentioned before, I think it is an incredibly beautiful poem. Mary

Thanks for letting us know Mary. So he couldn t think of his own lyrics, could he :) ? On a related singer/songwriter, apparently Bob Dylan has read Don Juan - my husband read this in Dylan s Chronicles . He mentions Shelley as well. I wouldn t be surprised if Dylan quotes Byron somewhere in his songs. Elizabeth

Hi Elizabeth, I think Dylan read Shelley and Pushkin too. Obviously a taste for the Romantic! Mary
