I have been urged to actually join this group rather than just lurk around - so I have, and can now happily digress and dispute.

For the past ten years, I have been writing a novel based on Byron's life. I have completed 250 pages and have progressed from July 1811 to March 1812.

The more I research the more I have to research, but the experience has been fabulously entertaining.

There are some salacious teasers on my web site www.byronmania.com, although the actual book is quite different.
