Welcome Lesley, you sound very nice
You too live very close to the Abbey,as our missing Alan does, have you ever known Mrs Maureen Crisp? I've been told by several people that she's a lovely person.

Hey,just for the record:I know it may sound a silly question, but, sorry:

Are you a man or a woman?   Lesley is a name which is frequently used for both sexes in your language,am I wrong?

cheers

Debora

Hi Debora

Thank you for welcoming me. :)

Yes, I do live very close to the Abby. :D I do not know Mrs Maureen Crisp sorry. :(

I do know Alan very well. I am going to treat him to a day in the Abby very soon. He likes to read poetry. The gardens are remarkable. Very peaceful. In summer, the lake and streams are wonderful. :)

You are correct the name Lesley is used for both sexes the female name is spelt 'Lesley', the male name is spelt 'Leslie'. You have guessed I am female.
