Hi

The poem 'She walks in beauty' was sent to me a while ago to read.
I was very touched that he would have sent it to me.
The words cut right into me.
I know this poem will stay with me forever.

I have just been reading that Byron wrote this poem on returning from a ball where Lady Wilmot Horton had appeared in mourning, with numerous spangles on her dress.

How wonderful, I would love to be there and listen.
Reading it is a beautiful thing. Listening to someone read it out would be very romantic. But, in a Covent Garden of all places, magical.
