Dear All,

I read somewhere that the "Albanian" original was in the British Embassy in Athens. Someone was complaining that the hardback of "Byron: Life & Legend" had used a much-inferior copy for its cover.

The original is in Athens and includes the shoes and all - life size I think.

The National Portrait Gallery has a website you can search for images:

always interesting to see them in situ though.
